Things to be Aware of
DISCLOSURE - THINGS TO BE AWARE OF AND PREPARE FOR
We have mentioned the warnings below on our website, but we deem it necessary to emphasize the importance thereof separately.
Please bear the following in mind whilst preparing for your stay:
- Water
- We use borehole water. The lime content in the water is high, and we advise our guests to bring their own drinking water.
- Geysers
- There are 3 geysers in the house and 1 geyser in the entertainment area. These geysers will not hold enough hot water if the house is full of guests who want to shower and bath at the same time. Please allow for enough time between showers and baths for the water to warm up before expecting hot water in the geysers. We suggest that you plan the use of the geyser water amongst the guests.
- Electricity
- Our electricity is supplied by Escom. We do not have any back-up electricity. Loadshedding and electrical faults on the Escom line are beyond our control.
